Supplier won't budge.

I have a contract phone and this will end in April, I have had several calls from my supplier to upgrade my phone and I have discussed what I would like and am willing to spend, I'm told by my supplier that I cannot have "my choice" as this is not available from them, I have pointed out that I have seen on 2 websites, a package of what I want and will pay. I have given them the companies details and the code numbers of their offers. They have offered me another option and if I was to accept the deal they are offering, I would end up paying £5.35 extra per month over 24 months and £60 for the handset. I would then be paying over £180 more per year for the same contract that I can get from a third party company and keep my current number.
This is the first private mobile I've had as previously I've had a company phone, should I push for a better deal or wait till my contract has run out then change provider?

When they realise you're willing to leave to get what you want (request PAC) they'll be a lot more accommodating.0

I had a similar story with 3. I was going to leave anyway but my first call to them was back in late December when I saw the Iphone 3g on the O2 website for £25 a month. I let 3 know and let them know this was the contract I was going to get. They offered it to me for £25 a month, but I'd have to pay £250 for the handset!! It was a similar case when I saw the Desire on E2save and gave my final notice before leaving. HTC desire going for £25 a month. 3 offers it to me for £35 a month.
If its 3 your talking about OP, I am wondering if their company is going through financial difficulties or something. I went to phones4u last week and was laughing when the sales rep told me they no longer deal with 3 mobile instores, something to do with a bad reputation!0 -
Hi, I may have missunderstood your post but if they do not stock that particular phone why should they get one in just for you considering they will get bulk discounts. If it is just the tariff they wont give you then keep on at them.0

The best you can hope for is to match the tariffs, if they're not offering the phone directly you're out of luck.0

Cancel the contract get your pac code, pac out to PAYG and then rejoin via the 3rd party this way you get what you want.0

They will not be offering you much until a month before your contract expires which is a minimum of two weeks away yet anyway (if your contract ended 1st April). I wouldn't waste your time trying until then, offers change all the time.0
