Hi, this is all new to me so sorry if we are going over old ground.
I have a Lloyds TSB mastercard not sure on APR but must be about 17% this weekend I will be making a purchase of £4000 on that card but is there a time period like after one months payment I can balance transfer to a 0% deal or can I make the purchase on Sunday and look to transfer on the Monday. Many thanks for your help and advice.:j

  • why not apply for a card that allows a period of 0% on spending?,on £4000 a BT fee of 3% will cost you £120
  • Agree with above. If you have no choice but to pay for it bear in mind although you want a 0% BT card you may not get it. All dependant on your credit file eg missed payments or debt to income ratio
