Firefox

I'm not computer savvy, but I was told by someone that the Firefox browser was good to use. I currently use IE8 but now I'd like to try Firefox. Where do I download it from? I did search for it but it came back with several sites and I want to make sure I get it from the official source and not download something wrong. My computer is Windows XP.

Then checkout these pages so you can customize it the way you like it. You can customize the browser layout too by using the View menu, Toolbars, Customize menu option and then drag and drop various parts of the interface to where you want them.

I prefer Chrome, but I use Firefox for Property Bee.

If you just want to test browsers, then by far the simplest method is portableapps.com.

They have firefox, Chrome, Opera, Maxthon, and SeaMonkey.

All install to a folder, and everything is kept in that folder. Uninstalling is as easy as deleting the folder. Perfect for testing.
I actually use various portable programs, like firefox, in place of the normal installs...
