I AM NUMBER FOUR COMPETITION RULES

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING THE COMPETITION. BY ENTERING THIS COMPETITION YOU ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

This competition will start on 4th February 2011 and end on 23rd March 2011.

How to play:

1. You must be 13 or over to play
2. The First Prize of an Apple iPad will be awarded to the first person to successfully complete all four tasks of the Find Number Four challenge. Each new task and the deadline to complete each task will be announced on the I Am Number Four Facebook page so please check back to read the instructions. All other entrants who successfully complete all four tasks of the challenge will be entered into a prize draw and twenty (20) entrants will be chosen at random to each receive a prize (prize fund will include digital cameras, Apple iPods and official film merchandise please check I Am Number Four Facebook page for more details).
3. On the rare occurrence that more than one entrant completes the final task of the challenge at the same fastest time, one of those entrants will be chosen at random to win the Apple iPad and the remaining entrants will be entered into the prize draw for a chance to win one of the runner-up prizes.
4. If you are a prize winner you will receive confirmation that you have won via e-mail. Prize winners must reply to that email within 72 hours of Disney sending it. If no response is received by Disney within this time, Disney reserves the right to select other winners and Disney shall have no liability in respect of the entry initially selected. Disney’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

General Terms & Conditions:

1. The Promoter is The Walt Disney Company Limited, 3 Queen Caroline Street, London, W6 9PE (“Disney”).
2. Open to legal residents of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland aged 13 or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of Disney, Facebook, their agencies or anyone else professionally associated with this promotion.
3. The use of multiple identities is not permitted and only one entry per person is allowed. Only entries made online via the Find Number Four Facebook app will be accepted.
4. No purchase is necessary to enter this competition.
5. To enter the competition, entrants must complete all four tasks via the Facebook app at facebook.com/iamnumberfourmovie
6. All entries for the competition must be received no later than 23:59 (GMT) on 23rd March 2011 to be eligible for selection.
7. No cash or other alternative prizes are available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control Disney reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value.
8. Disney reserves the right to disqualify any claim where it has reason to believe that these terms and conditions have not been complied with.
9. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
10. How your personal information is used when participating in the game:
    • You understand that you are providing your information to Disney and not to Facebook. The information you provide (or which Disney collects) will only be used by Disney or its agents to administer the promotion and to distribute prizes unless you opt-in to receive future marketing direct from Disney.
    • The Find Number 4 Competition is only accessible via the Find Number 4 tab on Disney’s I AM NUMBER FOUR movie fan page if you are aged 13 or over. When you play the game, the application will collect a unique ID to enable you to play (and for Disney or its agents to administer) the game in accordance with the terms and conditions. Please note that we will retain this unique ID even after you have removed the application but we will only keep a record of this unique ID until the competition has ended to make sure that the game is carried out fairly in accordance with the term and conditions.
    • Entrants accept that if they win, Disney will have the right, without additional payment or permission, to use their name for the purposes of announcing the winners of this competition and they may be required to participate in post-event publicity.
11. Disney has arranged this promotion in good faith but, to the fullest extent allowed by law, accepts no responsibility for loss or damages as a result of anyone participating in the promotion or any aspect of any prize awarded. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
12. Disney cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to the Facebook platform or the online claims process which is administered through Disney’s system. Disney does not accept responsibility for lost, damaged or invalid claims or any claims which we do not receive by the claims deadline.
13. Disney takes no responsibility for any failure of the Facebook platform to operate or the operation of the app due to technical problems or otherwise outside of its control.
14. Disney reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the promotion or extend or resume the promotion period or disqualify any participant at any time without giving advance notice and will do so if it cannot be guaranteed that the promotion can be carried out fairly or correctly for technical, legal or other reasons or if Disney suspects that any person has been manipulating entries or the results or has acted unethically in any other way.
15. The decision of Disney will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. A full list of winners (first name and first initial of the winner’s surname) will be published on the Disney I Am Number Four Facebook tab page or you can request a list by sending a stamped and addressed envelope to ‘Find Number Four Facebook Competition, 3 Queen Caroline Street, London, W6 9PE’.

What do you do to find a friend on FB - type their name in the search box and they come up, along with their details which include location
