Plastic Greenhouse

Hi

Just wondered if anyone could suggest where we could get a plastic greenhouse from... the ones that are about 4 shelves with a plastic cover over.

The ones at our local garden center about £40 which is a bit steep for us at the moment :( hoping we could find something that's reasonable quality but doesn't cost a fortune!

B&M have them for £9.99 at the moment. It's about 10cm narrower than the one in Wilkinsons though
  • and good old Wilkinson actually sell replacement covers for those little greenhouses.

Wilkos, Argos, The range sell them
  • The Wilko one is great, mines starting it's 3rd year now. Same cover and been out in all the bad weather we've had.

  • Another vote for wilko as ours survived the winter in an exposed spot + I like the fact you can get a replacement cover that fits to extend its lifespan(fleece too if you want). Wilkinsonsonline means you can get one even if there isn't a store local to you.

Ok, I am very tempted by one now, I have even looked where I would put one. Now - when do you tke the seedlings/plants out into one? For example, I have my seeds coming up on the windowsills now, would I be able to take them out soon or I have to wait for weather to warm up? Or if I put the fleece cover on for the night they will be ok?

I think my windowsills are quite 'dark', so I think the seedlings would benefit from the light outside.
