I have just signed up to the santander zero cc to transfer a stoozed debt from tesco cc. I phoned Bank of Scotland to cancel an old cc of theirs as I don't use it and I don't like having too many card accounts. Retentions team intimated they would have made me a 0% no fee offer if I'd asked and asked me to leave the account open and phone back in 6 months when santander 0% offer ends. Has anyone else made use of this?

not specifically, but have you closed the account? i wouldnt have thought you have anything to lose by keeping it open...if it was me id be tempted to ask them for the deal right now...and find somewhere else to profitably stash the funds;)0
