Hey

Hey,

I was wondering my partner is on DLA and IB and I don't get carer allowance because my partner care component is low, and we are struggling to save up for a holiday and we was wondering if there is anywhere what could help us, by giving us money toward a holiday in the UK and any discounts on anything?

Hope someone could help me.

Nothing that I can think of, some charities help with holidays for severely disabled but usually requires medium/high rate DLA.

Some local day centres provide low cost day trips, not sure about longer breaks though?
Have you any friends who would be interested in swapping houses with you maybe? That would be low cost with just food and travel.
Hope this helps and that you manage to get a few days rest together.

    All the best :-)

I think most struggle to save for a holiday, if your partner is on lower rate what makes you think you can get funds towards a holiday???
Save like the rest of us have to or go somewhere more local a change of area can be nice doesn't have to be expensive.
The day I had my Beautiful son is the day everything came together for me. For someone so small he done so much and made me complete.
