    You can never be rich on honest social as a single person. I do not know how people survive.

    Surely he can simply claim pension credit and forget about JSA and ESA.

    Your not meant to be rich while claiming benefits. Benefits are meant to be a thing of last resort to cover basic living costs.

    I note you seem to assume that someone who is disabled can do what they feel like doing when they want to do it, and that disability has no costs.
    Now using those figures you tell me what salary you have to be earning to have a net income and after in work expenses of more than that to make it worthwhile working.
