I got a GORGEOUS little black dress in ASDA the other day for £12.00!
It would look great for a Christmas party.
I've bought some silver glittery shoes (£11) and a matching handbag (£4) from Peacocks to go with mine.
It looks great and a lot more expensive!:j0 -

Charity shops have lots of hardly worn party clothes cos they are the sort of thing that gets worn a couple of times and then discarded. Seriously good bargains to be had.True wealth lies in contentment - not cash. Dollydaydream 20060

Thank you for all your replies so far. I wandered around the local Tescos, Matalan, Primark and Asda but couldnt find anything I really liked. So I raided my sisters wardrobe and have borrowed a lovely long blue dress, will go lovely with the blue shoes I bought in the summer sales. In return she is borrowing my suit for an important meeting. How 'money saving' are we? If you have a friend/ sister/mum that has great taste and is a similar size then why not borrow something, it means you get an outfit that noone has seen you in and doesnt cost you anything, well unless I spill something on it and have to pay for the dry cleaning!!0
