I have recently set up a Nationwide Mysave account, and have set up a payment to come out of my Barclays account in a weeks time. I was just wondering if anyone knew if Barclays would charge for this? I have done all of this online.

If you've done it online I don't think they will charge. My understanding of it is that any payment you can do online is free, as the floor limit for online transactions is £5000. Any payments above this level or to international bank accounts incur a charge (unless you have a platinum account), and have to be done in-branch.

shouldn't charge you unless high-valued payment (e.g. £5000+)

Did you set the payment up on the Nationwide MySave website? If you did, the payment will leave your Barclays account as a direct debit (just like paying a bill by direct debit).

Thankyou for the replies, and yes Glider I set it up online through Mysave. This is good news as now I can transfer money as and when I like into the Mysave account.
