Virus killed my pop up blocker!

Firefox just said a virus killed my pop up blocker and offered me two donwloads.
Instead of clicking them to run I clicked them off.
How can i remedy this please?

Something sounds odd about this. I would be very wary about accepting the downloads. My advice is to get rid of any virus/malware you might have using this link: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=133269

and then delete and reinstall Firefox which should get it back to new.

Thanks shopbot, think that may be a job for tomorrow seems a bit lengthy. I've not long installed fiefos and mostly use IE anyway so I'll probably delete firefox and stick with IE.:beer:
