Got microsoft security essentials as our antivirus. However, now systemtool 2011 has now appeared on my partners laptop and overwritten mse. What do we do?

The instructions suggest to try rkill, which should allow MBAM to run. (try the various different versions)-Scott-

tried this, allows download but will not let the programme run,
Reboot and kee pressing F8 to get into SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING and try again from there
If it fails try this reg fix -
After clicking YES it will be fixed (Nothing will visually happen)
