Co-op Cashminder and Bankrupt

Can anyone help out I'm 8 months into Bankruptcy and looking to get a Co-op cashminder account do you think they'll let me open one?

Richardst, I would try Barclays first if you have a branch near you - seems they are most Bankruptcy friendly, as are Halifax with the 'Easycash'. Co-op would be the last basic to try. Although they are good, my friend got turned down with no bankruptcy, iva's or ccj's.Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect and don't live to be. halifax is the one that seems to be friendly for easy or card cash0 -
Opened one with Barclays - Cashcard , no problem0

I got one no problem at all when I was BR, but that was a couple of years ago. It was said that that was the account of choice for BR at the time that was why I went with it and I have had no problems at all since, and they sent me a normal visa card out straight off instead of a cash machine or electron card so that was a nice suprise!
