Business or personal cheque?
Some banks will clear personal cheques the same day whilst business cheques go through the clearing cycle - if so then 2-4-6 will apply.0 -
very surprised no one can answer this lol

3 days as its still a cheque although they will clear it in 24 hours but make you wait the extra days while they make interest on it.0

It will follow the normal cheque clearing process however your branch may allow you to withdraw the funds sooner at there discretion.

The timelapse is to allow the person who issued the cheque to change his mind, and for his branch to check that the cheque is "in order" to pay.0 -
indeed
only a house cheque would tend to clear same day0
