ESA - work-related component overpaid?

I have recently (monday) been placed in the work related activity group for ESA.

I - as I expected - got a payment covering week 13-21 - which covers me up to now, from the day that assessment rate would usually end.
Find - I agree with this.

However.
I also in the same pile of seperate letters (sigh) - got a notice that they are also paying me the WRAG component for week 1-8.

Is this correct?
I was under the impression that the payment of the support or WRAG components only started at week 13.
And if not - what's happened to week 9-13?

The person at the call centre diddn't seem to have any insight.
Confused.

I suppose bang it in the savings account, and earn a wacking 4% interest on it.
