Norton Internet Security

Hi

not sure if this is the right forum...I had a desktop computer and I have Norton that was renewed every year off my debit card (I know I know) but that has gone to the computer graveyard and I now have a new laptop which came with mcafee for free for a couple of months which runs out on Saturday

I have just bought the Norton 2011 for 25 quid in WH Smith...

now heres my daft question...how do I stop the next Norton payment coming off my card in March?...is it just a matter of going to my bank and cancelling?

cheers

  • Sounds like you have set up a "recurring payment" with Norton - if, as it seems from your post, that the payments are done automatically.
You must contact Norton to cancel the payment.

The card issueing company (bank etc) cannot cancel such payments
This point is much discussed on the credit card forums I believe.
