Courier recommendation

I'm currently selling a baby swing on ebay listed as collection only due to size. A couple of potential buyers have contacted me asking if I would send the item.

I would do this but when I've used couriers in the past (I think it was payperparcel), the standard rate quoted in the sticky thread has always increased once weight and dimensions have been added to the online form.

Could someone recommend a courier firm, please, that doesn't charge too much for larger items?

    Size/ Weight?
  • Hi womblingfour,

I was asking the same thing last week lol, having been quoted ridiculous prices, i found a website called shiply.com which has been a godsend. You register with them and list the items you want transporting and people bid for your business,i saved a fortune and would recommend it to anyone.

Do be aware though that when you accept a bid they charge a fee at the checkout stage, think it was £7.99.

    Hope this helps.
  • Thank you.

Funnily enough, shortly after emailing this another buyer bought the swing who lives locally so thankfully I no longer have this problem. I will be listing a buggy in a couple of weeks though so really helpful to know of this website.

    Thanks again for the recommendation.
