Taxi v Clamper

Another case of someone being clamped while parked in their own space, unfortunately the clamper appears to have had a minor victory in the end.

Edit:- Just noticed that this has been posted in another thread, but as that has been going round in circles for the past 12 hours I had given up on it.

Wouldn't call it a minor victory - the police (who we all paid for to attend) sided with the clamper and the culprit's boss paid her "fine" to the clamper!0
-
The only "victory" was the clamper was held up for 9 hours, so he could not clamp anyone else!0

You have just got to love the statement from "Keith the clamper" though...Looking around him he added: ‘I have never had anything like this before, people blocking us in. It is not right and it is not fair.'
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0 -
Isn't this the company of the patron saint of clampers, Trevor Whitehouse ?"There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
"I could play all day in my Green Cathedral".
"The Centuries that divide me shall be undone."
"A dream? Really, Doctor. You'll be consulting the entrails of a sheep next. "0 -
If it were me then being as the police sided with the clamper I would now be looking at making a formal complaint to the IPCC.
What can I complaint about?
People who work in the police service should behave appropriately at all times. Expectations about the behaviour of both police officers and members of police staff are set out in their respective Standards of Professional Behaviour. These expectations include requirements to:- Act with honesty and integrity, fairness and impartiality
- Treat members of the public and their colleagues with respect
- Not abuse their powers and authority
- Act in a manner that does not discredit or undermine public confidence in the police service

Whitehouse was on BBC Breakfast this morning at about 7:40 talking about this incident.
I only caught a few minutes of it as I had just eaten and couldn't listen or look at him for too long _pale_ Whilst he was questioned a fair bit the level of interviewing by the presenters was in line with the comparison of being savaged by a dead sheep.
I don't know if it would be put on iPlayer or not, but don't blame me for the bills if watching him causes any damage.0
