Insurance for transporting animals
Anyone have any experience of insurance for transporting animals - namely dogs? Does it require anything special?
We're looking at buying a van for use in the rescue charity to transport dogs between homes etc. Would probably be an ex-police dog van with 4 cages, so would all be secured properly etc.
Ideally would require insurance to cover the dogs as well as the normal stuff, and ideally to cover a number of drivers, I don't know if that kind of thing is possible or if it would be prohibitively expensive? Would the rescue insurance cover vet bills from injury if the van insurance didn't?

Be careful buying an ex-police vehicle, most are abused and maintained on the cheap.0
