Post Office On-line Saver A/C

I've been trying to open "MSE Best Rate" savings account the Post Office On-Line Saver since last November. The account is sort of open, that is, I can open the account through my browser but I cant operate it.
I know why I cant operate it. It's because the nominated bank account details I supplied. as requested, have not been input by the Post Office, or should I say Bank of Ireland?
I have phoned, written and emailed any number of times to rectify the situation and I've just been given the runaround. Emails have elicited a complaint instigation response. Letters have either been ignored or the response has been positive but without a correspondingly positive action being taken. Phone calls are "disappointing". The Irish call centre is staffed by operatives who are sometimes difficult to understand because of the speed of their speech coupled with an Irish accent and poor sound quality of the call. Even if I put the phone on "speaker" it is difficult to understand what is being said meaning that I am asking them to repeat themselves again and again.
I'm now looking for an alternative savings provider as, after three months, I think I've persevered long enough.
Anyone else had a simlar experience?

If you search these forums, you'll find a number of people having similar problems to you. I guess I was one of the lucky ones because I had no problems opening and depositing the money.0
