Trouble with AVG 2011

Since I've updated to AVG 2011 I've had problems with my PC. Every now and again a box pops up saying 'Firefox has encountered a problem...'. 'Send error report' or 'Don't send'. If I click 'Don't send' it just closes Firefox down completely; there's no other way of clearing the error box. I'm not techie-minded, unfortunately, and don't want to make any mistakes. Is it easy to uninstall AVG and, if so, what would be the best freebie to install?

AVG Remover(32bit) 2011
(avg_remover_stf_x86_2011_1184.exe)
VG Remover(64bit) 2011
(avg_remover_stf_x64_2011_1184.exe)
Install free edition of Avira ,Avast,or Mse0 -
avast 5 free, if that doesn't fix it, backup your bookmarks, and reinstall firefox!!
