suggestions on account

I am looking to setup an account where i have no access to it for a year , so i can place a monthly/weekly payment into it but get no access to it and able to add more when i can.

Also not too fussy about intrest rates etc. as only looking for about £2000 into it

Any suggestions?

If you bank with First Direct they have an account that pays 8% for regular savings. HSBC pay 5% (double if you have a particular fee charging account).

If not, take a look at regular saving accounts at www.moneyfacts.co.uk.

Thought you CAN have access to it, tho' by closing the account?

This query has come up before so there is a demand for it; I don't remember anything fitting the OP's needs exactly. First Direct is about as near as you can get. Maybe someone will come along proving me wrong.
