    Had a really good day. Like all of us things are so tight at the moment. Anyway got a letter from my solicitor this am and I always dread getting these letters.

    However enclosed was a refund cheque for GBP62.50 as they say I have overpaid on her fees. I dont know how this can be the case, perhaps it is the legal aid that has kicked in - not sure. However was nice to receive and will clarify with their accounts department tomorrow.

    In addition, my bank sent me a cheque for GBP50 for bad customer service, which I received last week.

    So excited, off to the bank now to deposit my cheque.

    My prayers were answered!!!

    Hi everyone,

    I've been a longtime loiterer but feel it's about time I put my own list up. I've been keeping my own to-do lists after reading the ones here but keeping them to myself so anyways, today I will/have:

    Walk to and from work - Done
    Free tea/water at work - Done
    Chase up payrise at work - Done,they're stalling :cool:
    bring lunch from home - Done
    bring snacks from home - Done
    check MSE boards
    check online bank - large numbers out today :(
    update siggy if any changes
    LSD - £10 planned today
    Dinner from stores
    check mystery shopping accounts for any jobs
    finish college homework - Done at work :)
    no extra heating -only timer on

    Think that's it for me.

    Clean after cats
    Take rubbish out
    Use free texts

    Hope everyone had a good day x
    No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one! :mad:

    Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T
  • I took food into work today (some leftovers from last night) which gave me a baked potato filling and snacks for the afternoon;
    Charged my phone up at work (he he!);
    Did a valued opinions survey, and cashed in a reward I was due for an Amazon voucher to get a book I'd seen for half price;
    Walked home tonight saving £1.20;
    Ate very cheap falafel, lettuce and pitta for dinner (same as last night - benefit of living on your own is that one meal lasts two nights!)

    Cheap day all round
    Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!
