Just thought I'd say, because I see a lot of bad about easyjet on here that I've just come back from Amsterdam (£40 return from Manchester airport :money:) and Easyjet were fantastic, all the staff were helpful and the flights were on time.
Bit worried about Schipol security though.. accidently smuggled a razorblade in my hand luggage!

Heh I am generally happy with easyjet, unlike some 'low cost' airlines out there who charge for things which really should be included in the price. Easyjet seem to have aspirations to be a decent cheap airline, never had a problem with them, unlike the other shower who hate passengers.0

I find ryanair planes a nightmare, never had a problem with the service as such (apart from a few rude comments from some 'over friendly' staff to my pretty-boy friend last year!!) but have you noticed the pressure (right word?) in ryanair planes seems to be really off?
Every time I fly with ryanair my ears absolutley murder, but not so much with other airlines? Very strange! I have to fly with them to gerona as the only other company I know that flies to gerona airport are thomas cook and their prices are 4x as much.0 -
Easyjet are fantastic until you actually have a problem, when they become utterly useless and couldn't give a sh*t about their customers!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
There are many airlines that will give far better service when problems occur, but don't forget that you are paying for all of these customer service representatives in the price of the ticket.
This is one of the reasons why Easyjet are able to provide a return flight to Amsterdam for only £40.
Buying a ticket from Easyjet is no different to buying tangible goods from a highstreet shop of local market.
You generally only get what you are willing to pay for, and if I could get a return flight to Europe for about the same cost as an average 3 course restaurant meal, I wouldn't expect too much apart from somewhere to park my bum.0 -
I've flown 25+ times with easyjet and I've never had a problem. I've had some lengthy delays before but they've normally been outside their control. Never had a reason to complain though so I can't really comment on their customer service.0

A while back (quite a while) I made the mistake of using RyanAir for a return trip from London to Cork.
Apart from the £20 it cost me to get to Stanstead and back the RyanAir ticket was £92 for their abysmal 'service'.
I then checked and found that I could get an Aer Lingus flight for ~£60 flying from Heathrow with all the service you'd expect from a scheduled airline.
No idea what the situation is now, though, as I believe that RA have a controlling interest in AL.There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

Thats interesting. Have flown with my DD a few times, never a problem( well apart from once but nothing to do with plane). We flew with Ryanair last year and while i cant fault the airline at all, we had a fairly pleasant experience. My daughter suffered excruciating pains in her arm during takeoff! She is 7 and has a lot of medical issues but never moans about them unless there is genuinely something wrong. She was in tears with the pain which is most unlike her. Very odd.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

I feel like my head is literally going to explode on ryanair planes, maybe some people have more problems with airpressure than others? I do notice a huge difference between Ryanair and any other airline I've used, including other low cost ones.0 -

There's really no way that you should suffer barotrauma more on a RA flight than any other on that aircraft type.
I know RA will do anything to save a few pence but I'm pretty sure that not properly pressurising the aircraft would get them into a lot of trouble with the various civil aviation authorities very quickly. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

Its like their pressure rises and falls(??) a lot quicker than any other airline, I know I'm not the only one that feels it either!0
