Tax Credits - Husband is Non Uk Resident

Please help as the tax credit office don't seem to know and are asking questions i simply cannot answer. My husband is registered correctly via HMRC as a non UK resident, he resides overseas fo rmore than 10 months a year and i do not know if i should be claiming tax credits. I have at this moment asked the tax credit office to freeze my claim until someone can help me. I'm a UK resident and i pay my tax can any one please advise me as the tax credit office don't seem to have a clue, my husband doesn't get wage slips nor a P60 i do should i be claiming or not please help.....

  • What is your status in the UK? British? ILR? EU? Visa (which one)?
    RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
