in Credit cards
I am about to purchase a car, around 10k. i have the funds to pay in full. i also have a tesco personal finance card normal rates paid in full every month. i have a 9k limit.
Do I, pay the balance + some so it is clear and say 1k in credit then pay for the car in full, or get a cheque from them. either way am i right in saying this would generate approx 2500 points cashed in a 3* face value giving me £750 in deals, we normally save our vouchers for a holiday deal. or is there a better way of generating a bigger payout, such as get a 0% deal for 12 month and invest the cash.

£750 in deals! Sorry to disappoint but it will be £75 in deals. You'll get 2500 points but each point is worth 1p (3p when spending on deals). 2500 * 0.03 = £750

First of all you might want to check if you can pay for the car with a CC. Most dealers will want an additional fee (say 2%) to use a CC.0

yeah, check they'll accept a card payment without a charge.
don't be shy to push them.0 -
Vauxhall 2nd hand dealers (Network Q) wanted ~ 10% extra if I paid with a cr. card!!0
