MP4 help please

Fishcake_Random

Hey,
I have been given an MP4 player thing and I'm playing around with it, learning how things work and how to put things on it ect. But I can't seem to find any free MP4 downloads to put on it.
Does anyone have a link to a free legal MP4 download I can use? It doesnt have to be anything clever or special I'm just trying to learn how to use my new player. Tried searching on google but ended up going in circles and not finding anything or just finding some very dodgy looking sites.
Thank you

Do you mean mp4 audio, or do you mean mp4 video download?

What kind of videos are you looking for? You certainly won't get blockbuster films or TV shows for free (legally).

You may find something to interest you at http://www.archive.org/details/movies
However depending on your player you might have to convert the files with third party software before you can play them

Thats perfect thank you!!!
It doesnt need to be of any interest, just something I can put on my player and use to learn what all the buttons and gizmos do.
Your a star.

Twit.tv produces a range of free netcasts in both video and audio forms. They are mainly, but not exclusively, tech-based and their mp4 downloads are often available at different resolutions.

OK_Sauce

If use the Firefox browser you can download the VideoDownloadHelper add-on and download MP4s off of Youtube, if the uploaded video had at least a 720 HD stream.
