Couldnt have been more helpfull!

Sadly, lost my mum over the weekend..

First funeral directors we went into ( first time and struck with grief ) didnt make us welcome and we felt like they were doing us a favour. Wanted everything their way.

BINNED THEM!!

Decided to give the co-op ( bristol ) funeral services a ring ( thought OMG this is going to be like a supermarket deal job ). BUT couldnt have been more supportive and usefull. Nothing to much trouble, did all the running around for us, knew what to do and could not fault them. Ended up helping us saving big time on cost to by ordering our own casket that we wanted and they didnt sell, but were happy for us to use. Took a HUGE pressure of us.

Thanks guys! Praise where due.

I am so sorry about your loss.

I used the Co-op Funeral service (Hull) when my father died - and I agree, they were so supportive and helpfull. They offered advice but with no pressure at all, but the advice they offered was absolutely spot on.

It did ease the stress and strain of it all immensely.

ahh, Im sorry you have lost your mum.
Up to now, I havent lost a husband or a child but I can honestly say that losing my mum was the worst thing that has ever happened to me in my life. I was 32 at the time and she died suddenly. A little bit of me went into her grave with her and I have never got it back.

29 years ago and I still shed an odd tear for her and dad.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
