Home phone number appearing on Ebay business seller page

I recently had to upgrade my private Ebay account (and yes, it really was private) to a business account. I have to say since then, I haven't used it- but I thought last week I should actually have a go at buying some stuff to sell.
After checking my listings I can see my name address and phone number - which is a bit alarming. The phone is my house phone and we are ex-directory - and I don't want any members of the family having to field any unpleasant or canvassing type calls because of this.
Is there any way not to have these details showing?
I've got a horrible feeling you're all going to say that there isn't!

As a business seller these are automatically shown. Short of putting a taxi company number in there or a mobile number that you never answer there's not a lot you can do.

Unfortunately if you are a business seller, you have to provide your address and telephone number. Luckily I have a retail premesis so give that as my business address, and my mobile number.

However, this does encourage selling outside ebay as I have had a couple of buyers phone me direct making me an offer to end an item. I always refuse, but wonder how many sellers do it

Mmm - thought that would be the case - I do have a mobile I could put in there. Don't know where to alter those details though - will have to investigate.

or see if you can get a free 0870 number which then does not give your home number.

The law, not just Ebay policies, requires you to provide your business address details
    To change your contact information:

    Go to My eBay.

From My eBay, click the Account tab.

Click the Personal Information (A on the image below) link.

Click the Edit (B on the image below) link next to the information you want to update.
