Homebase exchanged a large tin of emulsion paint that had gone off. Their own brand Sanctuary paint.
Paint had been stored in shed and during extremely cold weather the paint had curdled.
We did not know why the paint had gone off until Homebase staff member asked where it had been stored and then it was obvious we were at fault but they still exchanged the tin for a new one as a gesture of good will. We did not ask for a new tin, it was offered.
Homebase deserves a round of applause.
