and we will never, ever return.0 -
Does the student loan company not make loans to students? Or was i imagining everything?"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0

The bank lends you money for you to borrow. You nearly have a three year law degree and you don't know the difference between lending and borrowing? Wow!!I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

Probably not eligible for a loan from the student loans company if OP already holds a degree. What about a career development loan? Info on them here: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/EducationAndLearning/AdultLearning/FinancialHelpForAdultLearners/CareerDevelopmentLoans/index.htm0

I would suggest you investigate whether you would be eligible to borrowthis through a career development loan - http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/EducationAndLearning/AdultLearning/FinancialHelpForAdultLearners/CareerDevelopmentLoans/DG_10033237
If you cannot and assuming you will have no income whilst on this course then I doubt you will find anywhere that will be prepared to give you a loan.
Edit - sorry cross post svenenaA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Was just about to say the same thing, says a lot about today's education system!
truly it beggars belief. When man sacrifices the Love of POWER for the Power of Love, there will be peace on earth.0 -
Anyway on to the real question. I'm coming up to finish my three year law degree and there was money already put away to cover my fees so that is no issue but what is an issue is that I now need to go onto an 2-year institute course with fees of £7,500 each year.
It would help if you tell us what career the two year institute course is for, as the regulatory body of your chosen career may have advice on funding options.
(I'm assuming that you do not intend to pursue a career as a solicitor or barrister, since the mandatory post grad academic courses for law students are only one year)I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

The OP appears to have all the qualities needed to line up a career in claims management. :rotfl:0 -
I hope I never have to use your services in the legal sense.
You borrow, the bank will lend.
And you will pay back.Be happy, it's the greatest wealth0
