Honeymoon in April/May
Comments

I work in Travel and sorting my honeymoon too
My advice the Middle East - Oman, Dubai or Abu Dhabi
- No Rain
- Amazing Hotels
- Tax Free
- 7 Hour Flight with not much time difference so less jet lag!!
- Romantic desert safaris
- Safe to go out in nightime, no hassle etc
- Excellent service and made to feel very special
That would be my advice but depends on budgets etc, been to Dubai twice and Abu Dhabi once
Anything else give me a shout xx0 -

Typical.
Does anyone have any ideas of somewhere (preferably not in Europe) that's suitably honeymoony and great weather that time of year?
Thanks x
What type of budget do you have....?
Zanzibar is a lovely place...I came very close to going so assume from your ideas its a holiday of a lifetime you want?
The maldives are idyllic...this place is exceptional and the staff will treat you like royalty

St Lucia is another favourite of mine...again you will be treated exceptionally well, and the food is fabulous by the time you leave here:

Tanzania is the ideal honeymoon destination as you can combine a safari to the most spectacular wildlife areas such as the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, with a beach holiday in Zanzibar or !!!!! island.
There are always safaris going on even in April-May when it is the rainy season and many of the 4-5 star properties seem to have greatly discounted prices. Wildlife is prolific at that time as there is plenty of water and green pastures, and you would be in the safe confines of a safari vehicle (unless you wanted to do a walking or camping safari in which case these months are the wrong time for that kind of activity)
Alternatively, could you not take your honeymoon later (say in June?) after the rainy season?
Worth thinking about...
You may as well wait a couple of months to have your dream holiday then to feel you have to go to another place simply because of the weather.
Aim 4 Africa Ltd has some great ideas for Tanzanian holidays and can work out a special deal based on your interests and budget. So worth visiting their website or emailing the company to find out more.0 -
We had our honeymoon in May and we went to Dubai - lovely weather and plenty to see/do or just chill out if you want to.0

We're getting married in Jamaica at the beginning of April, and the best time of year to go is April/May apparently. I would imagine that most of the close Caribbean islands would be the same. I suppose it depends on what sort of honeymoon you are looking for. The trips you can do there can be active if you want them to be (eg. climbing waterfalls, rafting, snorkelling and diving etc), or you can just chill out on the beach.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
