No 7 intelligent balance mousse!!!

  • I have now tried several, the Beautiful Matte felt like it dragged my skin and it seemed to highlight my large pores - no good!!
I have tried Loreal Matte Morphose, it is passable, although it seems to be more expensive than the No 7 when you look at the cost v amount of foundation.
Maybelline Mousse played havoc with my skin and gave me more spots than normal, have to avoid that one.
Clinique's Even Better was pretty good for a liquid one (rather than mousse) but it is more expensive and you don't get the same offers as No 7....
I went back to Boots and they gave me a sample of Lift and Luminate, it is much creamier than the Beautiful Matte and it does make your skin look radiant. It can make you skin look a bit dewy, if you don't like the dewy effect, a dab of powder sorts it out. So far, this is the best one and the one I will go with unless I find a better one.

I am really gutted about the discontinuation, apparently it was because they couldn't put the same skin care products in the mousse format, so they changed it...

Ok i finally found a foundation that covered well and didn't give me spots. Now i'm running pretty low i've been into a few boots stores to get more and they have told me no 7 have stopped doing the foundation!!! argh!!! why do companies do this??

I've looked on ebay and theres only a few advertised the rrp at boots was 11.50 but they are charging 29.99 on ebay:eek:!! what a rip off!! Any ideas where i might pick some up nearer to the original price? or reccommend a product similar?

    thanks

I know this is an old thread - but thought you may be interested to know that Boots have brought back Intelligence Balance due to popular demand! I saw it on their website - it is available in four colours. :T

Thats been discontinued a good while I think - I used to use it.
Anyway the replacement is intelligent colour (light looks dark, but you only need a thin spread, a small pea sized amount & it matches your tone). I too was gutted but IC is BETTER than the mousse:T

    On 3 for 2 at the moment:money:

    I've been Money Tipped!
I love No7 foundations but not tried intelligent colour, my friend uses it and likes it. I like the liquid mineral one in beige and the tinted moisturiser. Is the IC much different to these two. I find it good the fact that it blends in without showing lines etc but is it dewy. I have dry skin and like a dewy finish but also some colour to my face.

Why don't you take a tiny clean pot in & ask for a squirt. A pea sized amount is all you will need.
