No 7 intelligent balance mousse!!!

Ok i finally found a foundation that covered well and didn't give me spots. Now i'm running pretty low i've been into a few boots stores to get more and they have told me no 7 have stopped doing the foundation!!! argh!!! why do companies do this??

I've looked on ebay and theres only a few advertised the rrp at boots was 11.50 but they are charging 29.99 on ebay:eek:!! what a rip off!! Any ideas where i might pick some up nearer to the original price? or reccommend a product similar?

thanks

Have you tried maybelline's dream matte mousse? It comes in both a foundation and concealer, and is always a staple for me.It retails at around £8 and is such good value

    Hi,

Your post worried me as this foundation is the only one I will use as it is the best for my skin too. I just checked Boots Website and it is still on there, i would try ordering it online. I hope it is still available!!

update - i tried to order some and it is out of stock, oh no! I used Loreal's Matte Morphose a couple of weeks ago as I had a free sample. It was ok for my skin but did not give such good coverage as the Boots one. If I find anywhere that is selling the Boots foundation I will let you know.
  • Thanks mrsB2004 i'll update on here if i manage to source any xx

    Hi,

I just went to Boots to find out what the replacement is for the intelligence balance - it is called Beautiful Matte. Some of the reviews I have read on the Boots website said that the coverage is good but the colours can be a bit orangey. I asked the guy in Boots, he said to go two shades lighter than you normally would in the Intelligence Balance. He gave me a free sample of the Beautiful Matte, I will try it and let you know!!
  • My local boots store gave me the same product to sample so...........
I did and arghhhhhhhh now got a face full of spots!!!! not impressed!!!
It felt heavy on my skin and i knew within a few hours what was going to happen.

Back to searching for the mousse for me :(

BTW the assistant in boots told me to check extras stores as they usually buy the boots discontinued stock. xx

Hi - I can't help with where to purchase but I do have an unused tube - shade Medium - that I can send to you if you like.
(For some reason, I still "get away" with a tinted moisturiser...)
    Let me know.
  • Just spent 40 quid on two jars of blonde from the states. yes double the price but in my opinion worth it!! on an e-bay shop (can't post link as I am a new member but it will come up on a search!

Also stuffbackhome.com (UK based) has tan and almond available at 19.11

Still gutted about boots sudden discontinuation and wondering where all there backstock may have been sold to!!
