How do I contact Electricty National database
What a difference one letter makes. When we built our house we put it as 1a as there is already a number 1. I want to change g& e suppliers via a cash back site. I contacted company to change meter is coming up as 1, not 1a, My supplier says we are already 1a - hence why I need to contact Electricty National database to check it out - changing means a difference of £65 from cash back - so not an amount of money to be lost if I can help it.

It sound lie your current supplier corrected the address on their system but not on the central register. You would need to get them to do this.0

The elec national address databases (1 per old regional area) are normally updated automatically using Post Office PAF updates or updates from Suppliers. When talking to your supplier you need to ensure you are referring to the Metering Point Address as they may be looking at the billing/postal address.
COntact you suppolier again with your 13 diogit MPAN and meter serial number and ask them to check what address is on record, if its 1 and not 1a tell them to request the DNO to update it.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
