Delta - Electronic tickets

Hi

Just needed some reassurance as I'm in a bit of a panic trying to sort everything out for my holiday.

We booked up the £160 New York flights with Delta, leave on Thurs morning.

Now, I have a confirmation e-mail from them saying it is all ok, and that tickets "will be despatched to;" then my address follows.

After that I got 2 e-mails, one for me and one for my partner, which are "electronic tickets" and have a barcode on them. Are these all I need? Was a bit confused as it says something would be despatched to my postal address, but I have received nothing.....

The easiest thing would be just to ring Delta and ask.

e tickets need to be ticketed and each e ticket needs an e ticket number, phone them up and check that this has been done.

  • Don't worry, e-tickets are regular tickets. So print them out and take them with you at check in together with your passport.
All information about your trip is stored in the computer system of the airline and will authomatically be recalled when you show your e-ticket and identification document.

If you put your details in https://www.checkmytrip.com the ticket numbers are sometimes shown.

Yeah, we had the same when we flew to Atlanta earlier this year. We had to print them out and they were scanned at the check in desk and our boarding passes presented in the normal manner.
  • Thanks everyone  The e-mail does have the ticket number on it, & the barcode that I suppose they scan.

Hi, we've also booked the Delta deal and have had exactly the same email confirmation and E-tickets, I agree it is very confusing.
