PPI Reclaimed - Please help

Options
I recently reclaimed my PPI through a solicitor.

The bank made me an offer and I accepted this. I signed the form and sent it back as requested.

The solicitor had stated a fee on the letter which was their chages for this service.

Once I received my reclaimed PPI I sent a cheque for the fee in full and final settlement as detailed in the solicitors letter.

I have two letters stating the same fee amount

The solicitor has now sent an invoice for a much higher fee saying that is what I owe them.

Can this be right

    Hi there

First of all well done for your success.

I am not sure about this, but does the letter actually give you a breakdown of the fees?
If not ask them to send them, I am aware there will be fees involved if you used a solicitor, and they should have been explained to what I know of at the beginning of processing your claim.

Hopefully someone will know and post up soon, good luck.

  • Not had breakdown of fees.

They just sent two letters with one value on and then an invoice for much higher rate

    Hiya

I would ask them to provide you with the breakdown of the charges then, they should provide them on request, see if any of it makes any sense once you receive these.;)
