T&C's making me a bit nervous too. I got to the stage where I was spending each voucher on another DTD deal and the price naturally goes up and up as you have to spend more than the voucher each time.

Have decided to I need to spend them on a normal shop before they get too high in future. Esp as if you think about it, you're only actually getting anything for free when you spend the coupon. It's quite difficult to spend a lot on what I really need when there's only two of us!

Am interested to know what they mean by the "spirit of the offer".

2 things spring to mind - it could be:

    1. Using a DTD coupon to get another one
    2. Only buying DTD items in a purchase

    What does everyone think?

Personally I think we are entitled to purchase what we want, whether using a DTD voucher or not, if they dont want to pay out they should charge the same or less than Asda. Admittedly my DTD vouchers have been small in comparison with other peoples but I cant see how they can stipulate what people purchase.

1 As the T&C say up to 10 dtd deals per month they must expect that anyone would use a coupon towards the next shop. Very difficult to police, esp if clubcards are not used.

2 Would be very difficult to prove that anyone hadnt randomly selected a basket full of items that happened to be more expensive so suspect they wouldnt invoke it that way. High risk of negative publicity if they start refusing to pay out on what could be legitimate claims. Easy to get around by buying a few incomparable items.

I'd expect it to be used to deny dtd on multiple purchases of spirits and possibly wine, items that have high resale value and are losing them a packet.

Try reducing the size of your font, bottom right corner of the screen, change the 100% to say 75% or even 50%, you might be able to see it then.

    Or try a different browser..
