Well think i've bargain shopped for the last time tonight. Went to Tesco to get some of the Turners wine for parents, got 8 bottles fine, went back in and used one of my DTD vouchers - again fine, but inbetween leaving mums and getting to Tesco i've managed to lose my blackberry mobile phone, am devastated, looked for it for over an hour, rang vodafone and blocked it as its going straight to voicemail, rang local police headquarters who won't do anything till mums local police station is open in the morning (i wont' repeat what i called them), really really upset as had some precious photos on it plus all my contacts and as i live alone i feel a little bit vulnerable now - it was one of the best competition prizes ever and now i'm without a mobile phone of any sort, been crying lots as upset & shattered, all for a few bargains.

Girl, I'm so sorry to hear your bad news. Hugs from me to you. Hope you manage to get the phone back. Warm wishes.

Sorry you lost your b'berry dawnie. is it insured? I know you won't get photos/contacts back but at least you'll not feel as vulnerable. It could still turn up. I lost my wallet in town a few years back and a lovely chap returned it intact. Hugs from me too.....

  • Evening all! it's been a while just thought I'd pop over with a quick update, due date is tomorrow but without the slightest twinge I'm not expecting anything to happen any time soon, I'll pop back again with a pic when the little monkey has arrived. Hope everyone is well. PC

Funny thing happened in Asda today.

Had some price guarantee receipts to use up so was very careful what I bought as didn't want to spend much.

Saw a stand on the end of the aisle. Finish Dishwasher gel type tablets, packs of 14 reduced to .75p and on offer for 3 for £2. Checked the main shelves and this was really cheap, the size 28 pack was on offer for over £4.

Anyway bought 6 packs as they were being paid for using wombled receipts and the 3 for £2 did not work.

Went to customer services who gave me the money back but no £2 gift card. When I queried this the SA said this has been stopped as of today, they had received an email from head office saying no more gift cards. Have Asda lost a lot of money because of the Tesco dtd, I wonder.

I've received a sainsburys mailing today with six conditional spend vouchers for £6 off a £30 shop each week. Hope you all get some! I tend to shop sporadically at Sainsburys, using one or two of these in Sainsburys itself, and the rest in Mr T's. This seems to keep them sending me more.

Er, except we wouldn't know about this glitch without this site? (Unless of course you're a PTS member)
