Morning all Hope your OH gets well soon UnintentedMuse - good luck and congratulations to all the compers, winners, couponers, DTD'ers, APG'ers have i left anyone out ?
  • How sad is this? Deliberately got up earlier than usual today so I could spend extra time trawling the various tesco price check advice/suggestions. Has taken an hour trawling through the pages that have appeared overnight, I need a dtd fix today or a wombled receipt at Asda at very least. OH says I need to detox and threatens to disconnnect the net and hide the car keys. lol.

I refuse to give Velvet any personal info and it won't let me play which Im still miffed over as I'd only really gotten into it about a week before they tightened their attitude.

That reminds me - did anyone watch DIY sos last night about the lady with her downs son? I had to smile when the cameras panned around her kitchen/loo area and there were ceiling high piles of loo roll. Couldn't tell if it was velvet promo packs though, lol.

Sorry to hear about your OH Intended Muse. You sound weary in your posts, I do hope it all work out well.

Bringing this over from the tesco threads but this is a lovely one for Easter - the Cadburys Easter Chick is £2 in T and £1 in Asda so this makes it free! Have a little stash of these chicks now.
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

For anyone here that is a bit nervous of doing the DTD and losing their money, I thought this post thanks to Eqzla on PTS was a good idea:-

"the best way to maximise return on this is to spend £10 to get around £10 of voucher, and recycle this voucher to buy another £10 of item to get another £10 voucher. Do this 10 times to reach your limit of 10 claim and £100 voucher. So in the end, you only spend only£10 in real money to and get 100 pound of voucher meaning 900% return. If you buy £50 pound at once to get £50 voucher and can only do it twice to get your max £100, meaning you spend £50 real money to get £100 voucher. Thats only 200% return".

All you need to do then is decide which is the most practical way to spend your £10. By the way I see that Baileys has now increased in price to £15 in Asda so not such a good deal.
