Morning all. What time does the Velvet money Tree change in the day? Says I have played already today but it was yesterday lunch time I played?

I've had pesky squirrels everyday. I've tried playing on the hour, just past, half past 1 minute to the next. Click the tree once, frantically and everything in between, but still pesky squirrels!

What am I doing wrong?
