For those of you waiting to hear from Tescos, check your spam folders.

Surprise, surprise,:mad: both my old receipts came back with Tesco being cheaper!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

They are certainly not playing fair when comparing prices..... my (cheapest value) corned beef for £1.19 was compared with Princes corned beef for £2.48 in Asda when Asda have their own value corned beef for £1.19. Which I buy regularly when I shop there.

It only takes a couple of overinflated comparisons to wipe out any small gains and of course there are still loads of items stocked by both stores that come up N/A which is b****cks as I buy them every week from whichever store I happen to be in. Coincidentally most of these items are always cheaper in Asda.
So looks like they are making up the rules to suit themselves :eek::eek:

Hopefully Martin or Watchdog will look more closely at this so called promotion.

In the meantime, I will only bother with Tescos if I have lots of conditional spends to use

Mad was in Barclays bank today. Was filling out the form for depositing cash in the ATM. Finished me transaction and grabbed all me paperwork. Got home and found an envelope with someones bank details etc. that had been sealed. Mad opens up said envelope and finds two cheques totalling £1000:eek:
Rushed back into town and explained to one of the staff what had happened. He replied "so you want to deposit this in your account?" Oh my days just for a minute I thought I was in Tesco's:rotfl:Explained again why I was there and was holding a grand in me paw. "Oh right I'll hand it in" and went to trot off.. Errr no pal you need to take my details, I've returned someone else's property, it aint yours, it aint mine and it ain't the banks. "OK put your name and numer on the envelope".
A thankyou would have been nice!
as VC says 'it's nice to be nice':)
someone else might not have gone to the trouble of rushing back in to town to help out someone else:A:A:A

I've come to the conclusion they have a very clever computer system as all the claim forms appear to be the same and a standard form so i think the win code is generated when you put your email etc in, you then get the captcha code which is probably what decides whether your a winner or not.
For those that haven't seen it on the Grabbit board if you buy glamour mag this month for £2 you get a free gift on the front - some nice items there some as much as £15 if bought separately.
Been to Greggs today with my BOGOF Bacon Roll voucher - they wouldn't take it - despite me pointing out to them what the T&Cs say about being able to get another product ie pain chocolate if the voucher item isn't available but they weren't budging :-((
