Was your ears burning today? lol, went to asda to do a little shopping for work, and a little for myself and to use the money guarantee vouchers, when i was coming out was telling my dh about you getting your hand stuck in the trollies, he just looked at me gone out and i replied with " look theres a long reciept on the floor" he walked off saying "dont even think about it, and it wet." lol :rotfl::rotfl:oh well got to go again for work tomoz and will be on me own
Picked up 6 drenched receipts yesterday in the deluge - laid them out on passenger seat in car and whacked up the heating on the drive home - lovely and dry by time got home - but sadly only 2 generated "free money" totalling £2.75. Still it was FREE. :T Managed to find another 5 today, but can't check them out until tomorrow.
When using them recently I've found that the majority of Asda staff seemed to be as well trained as Tesco staff - ie NO training and they seem clueless about what to do with them. (check coupon against original receipt, scribble something on original receipt to say Price Promise has been used and scan coupon) Today the CA checked date on coupon, didn't look at original receipt to verify it, and then proceeded to mark my receipt from today's shopping that Price Promise used
At least can reuse coupon (which accidentally got printed twice) at Mr T tomorrow and still have original unmarked Asda receipt as evidence if request by Tesco staff.
Roll on Easter and those whopping big shops. Will be there in the car park snouting round for errant receipts and doing my bit for "Keep Britian Tidy".0 -
Im getting ready to womble if Tesco do start price guaranteeing, but can I just ask do you just only use receipts where a clubcard hasnt been used? Am just wondering how it would work if it was tied into someone elses card. Also can I just ask please is it worth wombling receipts under say £5.
I havent got an Asda anywhere near me so havent been able to put this to practice yet. Thanks for advice in advance2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

I found them with the chilled Tropicana cartons in Sainsburys, so imagine they'd be in the same place(ish) in all stores. So your answer don’t be scared of failure

Tesco to launch price guarantee
I have just managed to get hold of further info on the above;)
Confidential In-house Timeline:
week commencing 28/2/2011: mass marketing campaign on radio, TV and national Press
week commencing 7/3/2011: marketing mailshot to all clubcard holders and shareholders
week commencing 14/3/2011: As an afterthought, we'll let some of our staff know about it, and inform the rest next month, after all the complaints
:rotfl:
Brilliant :rotfl:
I think your timeline for informing the rest of the staff is a bit optimistic. :rotfl:So your answer don’t be scared of failure
