myalphabetgirls wrote: »Just to let you know that one of the receipts for Asda I wombled yesterday had a whopping £6.57 voucher - that made up for my embarrassment at having to be prised from a set of parked up trolleys (just when I was trying to be discreet as well!)and my sore hand (which is still sore today but still plenty of wombling agility in it!). Just as well my daughter wasn't with me - she would have left the country let alone just wait outside (always walks away as I am so embarrassing!).
Its bitter sweet for me to read that Tesco are launching their rival guarantee to Asda - more time spent wombling. I may need to book in for some therapy, Ive got it bad!
All the lovely velvet wins are inspiring and Ive just started to get into this. My Tesco had loads of the 9 roll promo packs but no 4 packs. Til this morning I had only won 50p coupons which I haven't bothered claiming but then this morning a load of money fell into the wheelbarrow and I nearly had a heart attack - then it popped up £1! Going to bide my time and hope all you lucky ones are spreading your feathers.
Plan to go to Tesco today and see off some more vitamin water bottles (loving the 80p profit!) and my last co-op fiver.
I am "between jobs" at the moment - my choice. This wombling malarky and savvy shopping pays almost as good as part time - I figure if I was back at back I wouldnt have the luxury of time to bimble around car parks or spend hours on here, then printing, sorting and writing out my savvy shopping lists and sending off for freebies and entering comps. I would, as before, be rushing around like a blue a**sed wotsit, meeting myself coming back, and spending too much as rely on convenience shopping in a rush.
Just another big thank you for all your coupon finds and tips.
Was your ears burning today? lol, went to asda to do a little shopping for work, and a little for myself and to use the money guarantee vouchers, when i was coming out was telling my dh about you getting your hand stuck in the trollies, he just looked at me gone out and i replied with " look theres a long reciept on the floor" he walked off saying "dont even think about it, and it wet." lol :rotfl::rotfl:oh well got to go again for work tomoz and will be on me own0 -
