Also FYI 'Richard Brasher, who takes over as the chief executive of Tesco's UK arm this week' - Thanks to 'Sir Terry' for all your email replies ;)
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)
  • Has anybody claimed wins for Velvet with non promotional packs btw? Off to T's later, moc shopping :)

I did. Only small wins - 7 x £1 and 2 x £5. I sent in the claim form and the receipt, no packaging as the claim form only said to send in the receipt. I've received 7 of the 9 wins so far. I've checked all my packs today and none are promotional ones except the one 9 pack I have but I don't have the receipt for that. The barcode of the 4 pack is the same regardless of whether it's a promotional pack or not

Don't know how strict they'll be if the claim is for a bigger prize though.

Does that mean you can use the barcode from 4 packs that aren't promotional ones to enter the competition?

If so, I found 4 packs + 2 free at supersavers for £1.99 and have 2 x 50p vouchers to use so could get 2 there for £2.98?

Unlikely but depends on the barcode....As far as I know there were only 4 packs and 9 packs in the promo....

The 4 pack is 7322540090192 and the 9 pack is 7322540092950, I would suspect that the 4+2 pack will have a different barcode :o

  • Just to let you know that one of the receipts for Asda I wombled yesterday had a whopping £6.57 voucher - that made up for my embarrassment at having to be prised from a set of parked up trolleys (just when I was trying to be discreet as well!)and my sore hand (which is still sore today but still plenty of wombling agility in it!). Just as well my daughter wasn't with me - she would have left the country let alone just wait outside (always walks away as I am so embarrassing!).

Its bitter sweet for me to read that Tesco are launching their rival guarantee to Asda - more time spent wombling. I may need to book in for some therapy, Ive got it bad!

All the lovely velvet wins are inspiring and Ive just started to get into this. My Tesco had loads of the 9 roll promo packs but no 4 packs. Til this morning I had only won 50p coupons which I haven't bothered claiming but then this morning a load of money fell into the wheelbarrow and I nearly had a heart attack - then it popped up £1! Going to bide my time and hope all you lucky ones are spreading your feathers.

Plan to go to Tesco today and see off some more vitamin water bottles (loving the 80p profit!) and my last co-op fiver.

I am "between jobs" at the moment - my choice. This wombling malarky and savvy shopping pays almost as good as part time - I figure if I was back at back I wouldnt have the luxury of time to bimble around car parks or spend hours on here, then printing, sorting and writing out my savvy shopping lists and sending off for freebies and entering comps. I would, as before, be rushing around like a blue a**sed wotsit, meeting myself coming back, and spending too much as rely on convenience shopping in a rush.

Just another big thank you for all your coupon finds and tips.
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

do you remember Wombles of Wimbledon Green, the TV Program for children?

The Wombles used to go around picking up rubbish from the Green and recycling it.

Wombling, is picking up discarded vouchers, receipts, etc and recycling them ;)

looking for ways to use the squirty cream??? (apart from the obvious - lol)
GU pots in morrisons are £1.09 for 3 on offer, but use the 50p coupon, so 59p - pop 1 in the microwave then add to hot milk, a lovely hot choc for you to top with your squity cream!!!!
    (how about that Gill???)
