thats correct, you just need to spend the relevant amount.
    for example on a £67 shop i used a £9 off £60 and £2 off £20 coupon.
great when you save loads got that shop down to £31 gets easier as you use them more
This does sometimes happen but it is not the rule...in order to use 2 conditional spends you should actually spend the 2 total amounts..therefore to use £9 off £60 and £2 off £20 you should have actually spent £80 to get £11 off....if the Sa takes them without question that's fine, their error, but they can be refused quite correctly by SA's for spends under the amount required...

See VC's post 1330 above...you should actually meet the conditions if you want to abide by Tesco T&C's of acceptance

Yes I rememberd reading your post so closed everything down intending to try IE but asked DS for help as mentioned choosing two versions 32 & 64 something or other & he said straight away he didn't want IE on his laptop (not sure why but he is more teckie than us and won't risk anything thats why surprised he letting me use his laptop at all but he has a main computer also)
Your DS is not VC by any chance ?

To find out if your computer is running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows in Windows 7 or Windows Vista, do the following:
    1. Open System by clicking the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33.jpg, right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties.
    2. Under System, you can view the system type.

If your computer is running Windows XP, do the following:
    1. Click Start.
    2. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
      • If you don't see "x64 Edition" listed, then you're running the 32-bit version of Windows XP.
      • If "x64 Edition" is listed under System, you're running the 64-bit version of Windows XP.
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
