Big business set to pay less tax - how can this be?

I'm not in business but as far as I can see we need people to have jobs and yet government are cutting back too much making local authorities redundancy lists increase dramatically, thereby decreasing people's spending cos lots of people who haven't been made redundant yet are jsut waiting for it to happen, knock on effect on small and large businesses who are no longer getting contracts from the public sector.

Therefore it makes no sense to me the argument that this move is to increase jobs - as far as I can see here what these big businesses give with one hand (jobs) they take away with another (taxes)

Government would be much better stabilising the country by making decisions on funding that might keep people in jobs without cutting the tax bill and rid us of mass uncertainty - for example schools who daren't emply anyone because they still haven't got their budgets for next year because big decisions have yt to be made.

As far as I can see it's the person at the bottom shafted again, those at the top still creaming off the advantage.
