    Why not just charge a fair price for the policy in the first place?
  • I had car insurance with swinton last year and found then to be really good, will see what my renewal is and then maybe look at Quidco as well
  • I got my contents insurance through them and after £60 pounds worth of cashback I only ended up paying £8.64 which was great for me.

    I tried swinton for my car insurance they couldnt get nowhere near my renewal quote but came back and offered me £340 cashback!!! so was cheaper.... try it, i just wish id lied about how much my renewal was cos they didnt check..

    Sorry to bump up an oldie. Did you actually get the cashback on this? I had a similar deal with Swinton with £150 cashback which the broker at the branch guaranteed I'll get after she activated the deal over the phone for me whilst I was there.

    I've been with Swinton for 5 years and never had to make a claim so was surprise at the negative views regarding them so obviously a little concerned. They were good on the £50 cashback from last year which I got sent after 90 days though.
  • I should have received £100 cashback over 2 weeks ago. I called swinton and asked where it was,"it has been sent" after waiting a week I called again and was told "it had been sent and I keep calling" that was 2 calls in total but already I was a nuisance because I wanted to know where my £100 cashback was.I will not re new or insure with them again and of course I have the advantage of telling all my customers how bad they are.Still not received the £100.
