Wednesday 9th February - what small DFW things will you be doing today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Morning everyone, appears Lily is first around this morning!
Hoping for a good day today - 1/2 day at work & essay writing this afternoon.
Also....
1 load washing & hang on airer
Get dinner out of freezer
Walk to Mr T when I finish work so I only buy what I actually need & don't go way OTT (hoping that if I have to carry it, this may work)
Update spending spreadsheets
Work out cc total spent so bill isn't a shock when it arrives!
Write essays
Take dog to beach/woods (raining just now)
Sort out cats!
Search online to see if I can get dog's food cheaper anywhere
That's about it for now, have a good day everyone:D

I always love reading these posts but never have a go myself. So, today I'm going to......
Walk to the Post Office to send two ebay sales
Print letters to CC companies to claim back charges
Set all direct debits to fixed amounts rather than minimum payments
List more items on ebay
Print off ASDA voucher (don't you just love getting money back!!)
Visit friend later for dinner - she's a great cook and it costs me nothing!!!
That should keep me busy for a while!

Morning all
So far today I've managed to:
- start bread
- laundry drying on airer
- heating's just clicked off for the day (not as cold as yesterday!)
- checked online banking
- sent everyone off with packed lunches (OH took soup made yesterday)
Still to do:
- homemade soup for lunch
- check for/do surveys - am getting close to a couple of £10 payouts
- do comps
- v. quick dinner (pasta and salad) from menu/stores, as Wed. evenings are manic here
Was quite pleased yesterday, as I managed to "shop" from my wardrobe. We're out to dinner on Sat (eek - spendy!), and usually I would "need" something new to wear. But I found things that I already have, which go really well together - and I had no idea! So even if the dinner will be spendy, the outfit isn't. This DFW stuff really challenges one's resourcefulness, doesn't it?
