Bank charges claims for RBS and Abbey DIARY

My husband and I have sent away for a SAR for two accounts for RBS and two with Abbey on 10/11/2006. They have until the 19/12/2006 to provide the list of charges. All of the accounts are now closed.
RBS-joint current account
- husbands credit card
Abbey- my current account
-my credit card.
We hope to use this money IF our claims are successful to pay off some of our debt. The overdrafts and credit card being first. We also will attempt to reclaim charges from Cahoot and A&L but not until the other charges have been settled. These accounts are currently in use and we don't want to take the risk yet of these being closed down.
I will keep you up to date on how are claims are going and would appreciate any advice from anyone else who has claimed againts these banks.
I am a bit nervous but hopeful at the same time!

Received the statements from RBS yesterday after only eight days. Lets hope they are as quick to pay out. In the three years that we were with the back we were charged £1070!! Most of these charges were for unpaid d/d's or cheques however there were two charges for misuse of card where I was charged £20 each time. Both times there was sufficient money in the account so no idea what that was for.
Will be sending the next letter of to them tomorrow. I am crossing my fingers we get a result!;)Skint- Gall

Good luck I posted my 1st letter to RBS last wednesday requesting repayment as of yet I still haven't heard anything so fingers crossed0

Received the rest of the RBS statements through and we are now claiming for £2035!! Lets hope we her some positive news before Chirstmas.
I received a letter from Abbey stating that they are dealing with my request and also using the argument that I've heard before about microfiche.Skint- Gall

My claim for Cahoot is with the financial ombudsman awaiting the outcome of the test case. I am very happy so far with what I have achived and so much of it is down to this site and others like it.
